Best Damn Bookkeeping is looking for an Enrolled Agent to join our growing team. We work with small-business owners who want more than someone who just prepares their taxes once a year. They want someone who understands their business, helps them make smart tax decisions, and actually picks up the phone when they need us. What you'll do • Prepare tax returns for small-business clients • Provide year-round tax planning and strategy • Work with our bookkeeping team and review financials • Talk directly with clients and answer tax questions • Manage client relationships, deadlines, and projects • Take ownership and help improve the client experience Basically: know your taxes, know your clients, and don't be afraid to pick up the phone. What we're looking for • Active Enrolled Agent • 2+ years of tax preparation experience • Strong understanding of small-business taxation • Comfortable with tax planning and strategy • Great communication skills • Detail-oriented and organized • Able to manage multiple clients and deadlines • Self-directed and willing to take ownership • Someone who actually likes helping people The vibe We're serious about doing great work.
