What You'll Do - Clean and maintain commercial office buildings, retail spaces, and facilities during evening hours (typically 5pm-11pm or similar) - Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors throughout assigned areas - Empty trash, recycling, and compost; replace liners and maintain cleanliness - Dust surfaces, clean restrooms, and restock supplies like paper towels and soap - Use commercial cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols with EPA-approved products - Report maintenance issues or building concerns to your supervisor What We're Looking For - You're reliable and show up ready to work — tardiness and no-shows aren't your style - You have experience in commercial or office cleaning, or you're genuinely eager to learn. We hire from warehouse, retail, food service, and other backgrounds — if you're trainable and detail-focused, we'll invest in you. - You're detail-oriented and take pride in doing quality work, not just rushing through - You can work independently during evening shifts and communicate any concerns clearly - Physical ability to lift, bend, reach, and be on your feet for extended periods A Day in the Life You arrive at 5pm, unlock your assigned Charleston-area office building or retail space, and begin your evening shift. You start by sweeping and mopping main corridors, then move through restrooms, dusting surfaces and restocking supplies. You empty trash and recycling, clean high-touch areas with EPA-approved products, and finish by 11pm. Before you leave, you note any maintenance issues and report them to your supervisor. You know your work matters — clean spaces mean healthier workplaces for the teams who use them during the day.
