**What You'll Do**
- Support lead teachers in creating a warm, engaging classroom environment where children feel safe to explore, play, and learn
- Assist with daily activities like art projects, outdoor play, snack time, and transitions while keeping things fun and intentional
- Help implement lesson plans and developmental activities tailored to each child's learning style using our Montessori-aligned approach
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage materials so teachers can focus on what matters most
- Pitch in with setup, cleanup, and all the practical tasks that keep a classroom running smoothly
**A Day in Your Shoes**
Your morning in our Austin location starts with arrival and circle time—you're greeting children, helping them settle in, and supporting the lead teacher with group activities. Mid-morning, you're facilitating a Montessori art project or supervising outdoor exploration. After snack and transitions, you're observing individual learners, taking notes for families, and keeping the classroom intentional and organized. You leave knowing you made a real difference in someone's day. Whether you're working in North Austin or South Austin neighborhoods, you're part of a team serving Austin families with intention and care.
**What We're Looking For**
- Genuine passion for early childhood development and care for children's growth and wellbeing

**Schedule & Logistics**
Full-time position in Austin, TX. Standard classroom hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM (negotiable based on program needs). This is a 40-hour weekly commitment with steady year-round work.
