Twelve Oaks Landscape is growing, and we need skilled Irrigation Technicians to join our Fort Payne, Alabama team serving DeKalb County and North Alabama. You'll be the expert our customers rely on to design, install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems that keep properties thriving through Alabama's hot summers.
Are you coming from landscaping, lawn care, construction, plumbing, or general maintenance? We welcome experienced technicians from across the trades—your water system knowledge translates directly to irrigation expertise.
Your Typical Day
You arrive at a Fort Payne residential property at 7:30am, diagnose a faulty valve, replace it, and test water pressure across the zone while explaining the fix to the homeowner. Next stop: a commercial landscape in the North Alabama area where you'll help install a controller and 40 sprinkler heads, then verify coverage before heading to your final call—a seasonal winterization job to prep systems before the cold snap. You're back by 4:30pm, and your paycheck hits Friday.
What You'll Do
- Install and troubleshoot irrigation systems, from basic sprinkler setups to complex commercial networks
- Perform regular maintenance and seasonal adjustments to keep systems running efficiently
- Diagnose and repair broken lines, valves, controllers, and sprinkler heads in the field
- Work with our design team to plan new irrigation layouts for residential and commercial properties
- Test systems and make adjustments to ensure proper water coverage and pressure
- Communicate directly with customers about their irrigation needs and system performance
What We're Looking For
- No irrigation experience required—we provide paid training from day 1
- Experience installing or maintaining irrigation systems, OR a background in landscaping, lawn care, construction, plumbing, or general maintenance
- Solid understanding of water pressure, flow rates, and basic plumbing principles
- Ability to read plans, use hand tools and power equipment safely, and work independently
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Work ethic that shows up on time and takes pride in the work
What We Offer
- Full-time, year-round position: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm with occasional seasonal early starts and on-call emergency repair availability
- $800 per week (~$20/hour), paid weekly every Friday
