From there, you're out in North Lincoln and the surrounding suburbs handling 4–6 lawn maintenance stops, working alongside experienced technicians who'll show you the ropes. You'll wrap up by 4 p.m., return equipment, and head home knowing you've made real yards look great. No two days are identical — that's what keeps the work engaging. A Day in the Life Your day starts at 7am at our Summit Lawns facility in Lincoln, where you'll load your route vehicle and review the day's service stops across North Lincoln and surrounding suburbs. By 8am, you're at the first residential property applying customized fertilizer treatments based on soil test results you've performed. You'll chat with homeowners about seasonal lawn care, document each application in our system, and move to the next commercial account by mid-morning. Lunch break around noon, then afternoon stops across the Lincoln area keep you busy until 3pm. You're done by day's end, with weekends off. What You'll Do - Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, and specialty treatments to residential and commercial properties using industry-standard equipment - Perform soil testing and assessments to develop customized treatment plans for each lawn - Educate customers about lawn health, seasonal care, and product benefits during service visits - Maintain detailed service records and reports to track application history and results - Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly - Build positive relationships with customers and help establish Summit Lawns as the go-to lawn care provider in Lincoln What We're Looking For No experience required — we'll train you from day one. What we do need: - A genuine passion for outdoor work and lawn care - Strong attention to detail — you understand that precision matters when applying treatments - Reliability and professionalism; you show up on time and take pride in your work - Ability to communicate clearly with customers and work independently in the field - A valid driver's license and a clean driving record Cross-Industry Welcome Transitioning from landscaping, grounds maintenance, warehouse work, delivery, or retail?
