We have opportunities in our Infant, Toddler, Primary (ages 3–6), and Elementary (ages 7–9) classrooms, including Lead Guides and Assistant Teachers. Our classrooms encourage independence, confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. What You'll Do • Support children's physical, social, emotional, and age-appropriate developmental needs. • Maintain a safe, calm, organized, and engaging Montessori environment. • Encourage independence, curiosity, positive interactions, and age-appropriate learning. • Collaborate with classroom Guides, assistants, school leadership, and families. • Observe children's development and help meet their individual needs. • Follow school policies, Montessori practices, and applicable Texas childcare requirements. Lead Guides and Teachers will prepare and lead classroom lessons, maintain the prepared environment, observe student progress, and guide classroom activities. Assistant Teachers will support the Lead Guide with classroom routines, learning activities, supervision, and children's daily needs. Infant Assistant Teachers will provide nurturing, individualized care for our youngest learners, including feeding, diapering, naps, and daily routines. You'll support early developmental milestones through age-appropriate Montessori activities and communicate with families using the FAMLY app. What We're Looking For • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Experience working with children in the relevant age group preferred. • Montessori classroom experience strongly preferred for Lead positions; AMI or AMS credentials preferred. • Experience working with neurodivergent children strongly preferred for Primary Lead positions. • Montessori experience is not required for Infant or Toddler Assistant roles; Elementary Assistant candidates may be new to Montessori. • Infant care or early childhood experience preferred for Infant Assistant candidates. • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification. • Patience, dependability, strong communication skills, and a genuine respect for children. • Ability to meet Texas childcare licensing, background screening, and employment requirements.
